What does the revolutionairy ingredient Fruitflow®?

Fruitflow®  is the natural solution for healthy blood circulation

Fruitflow® II WSTC (Water Soluble Tomato Concentrate) helps maintain normal platelet aggregation contributing to healthy blood flow. Beneficial effect obtained with a daily consumption of 150mg WSTC II when taken with water.

FlyFit’s Fruitflow® is a natural ingredient made from bioactive compounds found in the jelly around tomato seeds. Tomatoes are crushed to a paste and then the skin and seeds are removed. The compounds are then extracted from the clear juice and concentrated to create Fruitflow®.

Healthy blood circulation is essential for good health and with its unique properties, FlyFit, with Fruitflow®  can help keep blood flowing smoothly as part of a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle

The ingredient has been evaluated by EFSA and granted the first approved Article 13.5 (proprietary) health claim by the European Commission in 2009, which confirmed Fruitflow® helps maintain normal platelet aggregation contributing to healthy blood flow

It is important to try to keep blood flowing smoothly around the body especially the older we get, when the risk of heart disease becomes greater.

Recent laboratory work has also shown that Fruitflow®  can reduce the platelet activation caused by airborne particulate matter by approximately one third in healthy subjects and in subjects with an underlying cardiovascular problem.

Can the ingredient Fruitflow® be overdosed?

Fruitflow® cannot be overdosed and has no side effects. The active ingredient starts to work within 90 minutes and continuous up to 18 hours

What makes platelets sticky?

Surprisingly, our blood flow can change hourly based on our lifestyle, meaning we all need to be more aware of what affects it.

The goal is to keep the platelets in the blood smooth, more of the time, to maintain healthy blood flow and avoid dangerous clots which can lead to health complications. Here are the most important factors to consider:

Being over 40

From this age our bodies produce less of the molecule, Nitric Oxide, which calms blood platelets so the blood flows smoothly and also keeps blood vessels relaxed, to control blood pressure So, the body’s natural cardio protection decreases and can need support.

Inactivity

Commuting, office based work, long distance travel or simply a lack of exercise lead to a drop in our bodies’ production of protective Nitric Oxide, making the blood platelets more likely to be sticky and prone to clotting

Stresses of life

Those who find they consistently have high and sustained levels of stress will have a high level of cortisol and epinephrine in their blood stream – both of these are associated with spiky platelets and so will put the cardiovascular system under significant stress.

Unhealthy diet

If you find your diet is high in fat, sugar or salt, this will lead to more active or sticky platelets, and this is worsened if you are overweight. Alcohol and smoking also lead to more spiky platelets, with binge drinking causing particular danger.

Pregnancy

The various changes to the body during pregnancy, such as increased blood volume and hormonal changes, place women at increased risk of blood clots or thrombosis.

Intense training

Despite all the benefits of exercise, athletes and those who use High Intensity Training as part of their workout, do make their blood platelets spiky and activate the body’s inflammatory system, increasing the risk of thrombosis.

Diabetes

Those with diabetes have a lower response to the naturally protective Nitric Oxide in the body that keeps platelets calm and smooth, and the blood vessels relaxed to control blood pressure

Air Pollution

Air pollution is the largest environmental risk factor for ill health, and it damages our bodies in many different ways, with our hearts particularly at risk. Long term exposure to high levels of air pollution can lead to high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease, when tiny airborne particles enter the bloodstream. Recent laboratory work has shown that Fruitflow® can reduce the platelet activation caused by airborne particulate matter, such as that from diesel emissions, by approximately one third.

Why is Fruitflow® excellent for use before practicing any Sport?

Fruitflow® provides improved recovery between training sessions, enabling more effective training. The sooner you recover, the sooner you can go out training again, and the more you train, the better you get.

Why is Fruitflow® excellent in use for people flying, driving or having long periods of desktop work?

Fruitflow® ensures that blood platelets remain smooth which allow them to move more easily the blood vessels thus makes it a great solution for people experiencing prolonged immobilization.

Does FlyFit taste like tomatoes because of the ingredient Fruitflow®which comes from ripe tomato seeds?

FlyFit does not taste of tomatoes because it contains the correct bioactive portion of the tomato in a concentrated form that you cannot get from eating tomatoes on their own

What are electrolytes and why do we use them in our premium formulas?

Electrolytes play an essential role in keeping your body healthy.

Our formulas are made with clean electrolytes Sodium, Potassium, Chloride

for complete hydration which can be valuable when being in a dry environment      (airplanes, cars and at work). Dry air effects on the human body. Pilots and flight attendants who are subjected to these conditions day in and day out are extra exposed. The longer the flight continues, the drier the air becomes and the more evident the symptoms become.

When people are subjected to air humidity lower than 10-15% they experience a series of different problems. For example sleep disorders, dry eyes, tiredness, dehydration of the skin and mucous membranes. After less than one hour's flight the air resembles that of a desert climate

When you sweat, your body loses vital minerals and electrolytes that need to be replaced for healthy recovery and lasting performance. For instance our FlyFit Sport provides a great balance of ingredients for mineral replenishment and optimal hydration before/during/after your workout.

When you’re exercising, you can lose up to 2L of sweat every hour?

Sweating is a very natural and common by-product of exercise. Whether you love it or hate it, sweat is part of a healthy lifestyle. But losing too much sweat can lead to dehydration – unless you do something about it.

Sweat contains two key elements that our bodies need for normal functioning: water and electrolytes. When you’re exercising, you can lose up to 2L of sweat every hour, although this can depend on the intensity of your session – a HIIT session may have you dripping in sweat while a brisk walk around the park may not. An average person can lose between 0.8L – 1.4L of sweat per hour of exercise.

If you lose too much water and electrolytes through your sweat, then you may become dehydrated. Knowing what to look for, and how to manage dehydration, is an important part of being a responsible gym junkie or exercise aficionado.

What is hydration?

Hydration is the process of maintaining the right volume of water and electrolytes in your body. It’s all about striking the balance between fluids in and fluids out.

Your body relies on water and electrolytes for a number of reasons. Water plays a key role in maintaining body temperature, assisting with digestion and lubricating your tissues and joints. Electrolytes help your body to retain fluid and are essential for nerve and muscle function. When you’re an active participant in sport, you rely on your muscles and joints to perform well. Keeping them well hydrated is pretty important.

Dehydration occurs when too much fluid – which includes water and electrolytes – is lost through sweat, saliva, urine and other bodily processes. In fact, you only have to lose as little as 2% of your body weight for signs of dehydration to show.

When you’re exercising, dehydration can cause cramps, increased heart rate, fatigue, impaired concentration and nausea. Not ideal when you’re trying to do your best gym session or play your best game of sport.

But what do electrolytes do?

Around 60% of your body & 75% of your brain are made up of water. Your body loses 2-3 litres of water during an average day, which needs replacing to maintain normal function. Dehydration is a culprit of bad mornings after, jet lag, gym workouts or just not consuming enough water at the office

Electrolytes are tiny particles that carry electrical charges. They serve many roles to help the body maintain proper function. When you sweat, electrolytes play key roles in keeping water balanced both inside & outside of cells so that your muscles and organs can continue to serve you properly.

So, why are electrolytes important?

When you sweat your body loses both fluid and electrolytes. If you f.i. don’t begin your workout properly hydrated, and/or you aren’t hydrated properly during your activity, dehydration can occur through the act of sweating.

Dehydration has several negative impacts on athletic performance, and perhaps you’ve even experienced extreme consequences such as muscle cramps and fatigue. But even if you don’t feel a difference, as little as 2% dehydration can result in a decrease in performance. Remember thirst is the #1 indicator that you may be dehydrated.

Why does FlyFit Sport contain Magnesium?

Magnesium is extremely important to athletes as it regulates heart rhythm, permits muscles to contract and relax properly and lowers blood pressure

Whether you’re a professional athlete or just a casual gym goer, magnesium supplementation can help you train harder, perform better and recover faster.

What is muscle cramping?

Muscle cramps essentially are involuntary muscle contractions that lead to your muscle seizing up and/or a spasm to occur. Most athletes will feel symptoms of cramping before they occur, and if you do not stop and stretch it out, it can stop you dead in your tracks.

How do they occur?

Muscle cramps (I believe) occur when the signals from your brain that help your muscles perform normally are interrupted and/or altered. That's why this subject is so tricky and complicated. There’s more and more research indicating that nerves endings that generate various signals from the brain cause a disrupt in the signaling, which leads to your muscles cramping.

Why do we use Cafein from guarana for the FlyFit Work formula?

It's an excellent source of caffeine, which helps you maintain focus and mental energy. Guarana seeds may contain four to six times more caffeine than coffee beans.
